Job Description:

We are expanding our services into central and coastal SC, with our new office located in the Lydia, SC area. We seek to bring on an experienced project manager who will help us open this new location and help it grow for years to come. Initially, this position will center on building a list of approved sub-contractors and familiarizing yourself with building department requirements across our service area.

This will be an in-office position where you will have the support of a General Manager, Site Manager, and Operations Specialist to keep our processes running smoothly. Occasional trips to job sites may be necessary. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday with an 8 hour shift, with additional availability required based on project demands.

We prefer candidates with 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, 10+ in construction management/supervision, Manufactured Home experience, as well as permitting and sub-contractor management experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills will help the ideal candidate succeed. Being a self-motivated worker who can effectively motivate others is ideal.

Once the location is up and running, you will shift gears to overseeing the full turnkey installations of manufactured homes. This will focus primarily on permitting, inspections, and sub-contractor management/negotiations. We use Salesforce and experience is preferred, but can be taught to the ideal candidate. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, being responsible for maintaining budgets and schedules. You will also manage invoices and payables, accounts receivable, ordering materials and supplies, and scheduling jobs.

Qualifications & Expertise

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive construction management/supervision experience, including a minimum of 5 years directly in a Project Management leadership role.
  • Critical Expertise: Proven experience with manufactured home installation (transport and set), permitting, and large-scale subcontractor negotiation and oversight.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. PMP certification is preferred.
  • Work Style: A self-motivated leader with the ability to effectively motivate and manage trade partners.
